Sneak Peek! Ladybird New Brand Identity & 2022 Collection

Driven by passion, enthusiasm, extensive bridal know-how and understanding of brides demands, Head of Design and Creative Director Ingrid van den Brink, has been guiding the brand to its current leading status in Northern Europe. “As the world is ‘going global’ we adapted the collection and look and feel to a modern, fresh and international look to appeal to brides all over the world.”

For more than twenty-five years, the red ladybug symbol was part of Ladybird’s corporate identity. This symbol for happiness and love is replaced by a brand palette of seven lucky charms. These are used to strengthen the ‘Lucky in Love’ message of the brand. Each charm and icon also speak to slightly different audience groups and demographics.

Lucky Charms come up in every culture, but what do they mean?

Heart-shaped key: Openness

Clover: Faith, Hope and Love

Horseshoe: Protection

Ladybird: Lady Luck and Prosperity

Eye Charm: Wealth

Lock with hearth: Unlock Potential

Shooting Star: Luck and Wishes

 

The new identity will be revealed to ‘brides to be’ end of August together with the launch of the new, refreshed website and the new 2022 Ladybird ‘Riviera Dreaming’ collection. The new dresses will be available in stores August/September 2021.
