INTERBRIDE Postponed to 2021

Due to the corona pandemic containment measures taken by Germany’s national and the local regional government, the INTERBRIDE show cannot take place from 24 to 26 May 2020. The social distancing rules that apply to large events until 31 August 2020 have made it necessary to move the trade show to the spring of 2021. The new date will be announced closer to the time.

The international trade fair for bridal fashion, grooms and evening wear was originally scheduled to take place in the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds from 24 to 26 May 2020. Renowned manufacturers such as Spanish company Rosa Clara or the Australian high-flyer Madi Lane had confirmed their attendance.

“The dynamic SARS-CoV-2 developments are constantly keeping us on our toes here in Germany, in Europe and all over the world. Our exhibitors had to change their plans due to travel bans and quarantine measures. The specialist retailers have been closed for the past few weeks, and business is only gradually returning to normal in many places. This has really shaken the industry, although we remain hopeful for the future,” says Ulrich Wendel, the INTERBRIDE CEO, describing the current mood of an industry that is usually full of emotions, creativity and inspiration as it works hand in hand with bridal couples that are looking forward to the most beautiful day of their lives. “Having to announce that our trade show has been moved is extremely difficult for us, but for the sake of everyone’s health, it was the only responsible decision we could make,” says Wendel. “Together with our exhibitors and the many visitors who have already registered, we intend to look forward to the spring of 2021, when we will be greeting our guests with the buying experience that makes the INTERBRIDE so popular and the top address for the international ordering business.”
