Exclusive Video: Madi Lane Bridal on the Catwalk at Harrogate Bridal Week 2024

Walking the Talk – Madi Lane Bridal showcases a variety of sizes on the catwalk for the first time with inclusivity at the forefront.

Madi Lane Bridal Group (MLBG) have built their business on the importance of inclusive sizing, which is why every dress in every collection is made to order in size 2 to size 28. This is driven by the fierce determination of Chief Creative Officer & Design Director Liz Young, to provide modern and fresh designer wedding gowns to woman of all shapes and sizes the world over.

“At MLBG our commitment to inclusivity is not just a token effort. It sits in my mind’s eye when designing gowns, flowing through to fabrication choices, patterning decisions, and customisable options. When we say that all our gowns are available in size 2 to 28, we mean that we have given each size expert attention to the scaling and support needed.

With an understanding of the challenges facing retailers in curating an inclusive range for their store, ordering gowns off size 6 models can be difficult. So with this in mind, MLBG presented their new collections at Bridal Week Harrogate with dresses in three sizes on the runway – UK6, UK12, and UK20.

Retailers had the opportunity to see the new Solara by MadiLane Bridal, Quartet by Jeune Bridal, Aria by Evie Young Bridal and KISMET from Serene by Madi Lane, all offering a fresh new take on bridal with inclusivity at its core.

Liz says, “Our inclusive commitment is threefold – Design inclusively, Manufacture inclusively, and Sell inclusively. This is why we showcased our collections in a variety of sizes, and for the first time our MLBG Harrogate runways with 3 sizes represented.

Bridal Times had the great opportunity to get a first glimpse at the collections on the catwalk and catch all the action at the Madi Lane Bridal stand.
