Can you tell us why KUHN is a favorite choice for men’s suits and festive wear?

We are a traditional brand with many years of experience in the field of made-to-measure clothing. The accuracy of fit and quality are our top priority. In our stores, customers can choose from a variety of cuts, fabrics, buttons and linings, and the individual embroidery on the lining of the jacket is particularly popular. We can embroider the wedding date and the names of the bride and groom in any color. True to the motto: fashion for individualists.

Another advantage is our great price performance ratio. The suits, vests, shirts and accessories are manufactured in Europe and the sourcing of materials is also exclusively concentrated in Europe. The most important markets for sourcing are Germany, Portugal, Italy & Great Britain. There we work closely with well-known weaving mills such as Lanificio F. LLi Cerruti, Tecidos Somelos, Loro Piana & Carlo Barbera etc.

Tell us about the Ceremonial Collection?

The collection is very diverse and is divided into the categories: Traditional, Urban, Vintage & Boho. We have significantly expanded the more casual themes for outdoor weddings and use comfort stretch in all of our suits for unrestricted wearing comfort.

What are some new features and highlights from the collection?

The trend topic is the “Seersucker Suit” in fashionable colors. The sporty suit has an irregular surface texture and stands for maximum comfort. The suit is available in the colors olive, old rose and denim blue. Our wool-silk suits with a subtle luster in a large selection of colors and with coordinated silk vests and festive accessories are an elegant alternative.

Are there any particular colors or styles that are trending at the moment?

The basis are the natural shades of putty gray, sand and taupe. This also includes the color denim blue, which can be combined with other colors. The suit styling is also reflected in warm color themes such as raspberry & old rose as well as in summery sky blue.

The day’s are getting colder now. What are some suit choices to stay warm during Fall or Winter Weddings?

That’s why we launched the Winter-Vintage-Wedding capsule. Here we present rustic flannel suits in winter green tones, stone gray & hazelnut brown. For those who would like to stand out in a winter wedding suit, we offer checked suits with strong contrasts to match the dandy look! From the season that has just started, we can already say that these looks are very well received.

How important are accessories for men’s suits?

The accessories are an elementary attribute when it comes to styling. Accessories can make a look more playful or show it more elegantly. The classics are cufflinks, pocket handkerchiefs, plastron or bow ties. Sometimes less is more, especially in the field of an outdoor wedding and boho. In this case, an open Mao collar shirt and a casual pocket handkerchief made of linen, would be sufficient.

What is your advice for a groom who is unsure which wedding day style is right for him?

Our expert staff in our branches in Germany goes through some general points with the groom.

When is the wedding? – This is decisive for the selection of materials and colors, also for the completion of the individual suit.
What is the motto of the wedding? – Vintage, Boho, Traditional, Progressive etc.
Where is the wedding taking place? – The location is decisive for the look of the groom.
What are the wedding colors? – The wedding colors can be the entire look, or as a color accent.
What does the wedding dress look like? – Style, color, model.

Once these questions have been resolved, we can easily determine the style of the look with the groom.

We would like to thank Toni Lopes for this interview.
