Mix & Match Your Dress with LeMoos Bridal Innovation

Almost every outfit requires just the right basics and without the right “Make-Up”, almost every style is incomplete. This is something that designer Helena Moos knows very well. It’s from this wisdom that she created a bridal collection which she can be proud of. She has made a name for herself with her Mix and Match Collection and recently presented her line at the Interbride in Dusseldorf.

Almost 10 years ago, Lena came up with her bridal collection idea and had the opportunity to present it for the very first time at Interbride this year in 2018. “We put together completely variable wedding dresses,” says the 36-year-old, who has been a bridal fashion retailer herself since 2004. “During my consultations, I noticed time and again that a dress is rarely the perfect solution,” said Lena. It happens very often that brides only liked a part of the dress. How many times have I been asked: Does this dress come with a shorter skirt or longer sleeves,” exclaimed, Lena. The answer to this question did not take long for this ambitious and motivated woman.

Lena dedicated herself to making her own collection which currently comprises 158 pieces. The basics which are the corsets and skirts, can be freely combined with a special zipper system patented by the company. The “Make-Up” tops and overskirts worn over this come in all conceivable designs, thickness and textures. In this painstakingly detailed work, Lena Moos has packed her collection into a starter pack for bridal retailers. “For two weeks, I dressed and redressed mannequins”,” says Lena Moos. The result is 88 different items in which retailers can put together 5000 combinations.

Lena Moos has already won 13 retailers with her concept even before the Interbride exhibition. “I want my clients to be convinced. We also cover a radius of 30 kilometers,” says the entrepreneur. For her collection to be a success in the retail sector, she spares no effort. “I am glad to come to my customers’ shop for a few days and help out with brides,” explains Lena Moos. She wants to avoid that there are misunderstandings in sales, in case the staff doesn’t have experience with Mix & Match collections.

You can’t really go wrong when it comes down to experience. As one of the few in the industry, she knows her stuff at every level. She was a bride herself, runs a retail business and now embarks as a designer. It’s about class and not about mass. “For the coming season, I’ve decided to make my parts even better combinable,” says Lena Moos. “I want to perfect the system. Bridal retailers would need very little space for my collection, yet have countless ways of putting dresses together.”

Dresses from her production are priced in the middle range for end customers and are available in sizes 34 to 44. In the coming season, Lena Moos also wants to make size 46-52 available to brides. The color palette ranges from ivory and champagne to gray and rosé.
