This September was a very special month for “Bezaubernd” bridal shop in Mitterteich, Germany. We had the pleasure to look back on the first successful year together with Melanie Blumberg.
Congratulations on your 1st year anniversary! What inspired you to open your bridal shop a year ago?
Thank you very much! I can only repeat our slogan: “There is nothing better than to make someone happy!” Here I can combine emotions and gorgeous gowns.
Since your opening, what kind of experience have you gained?
I have met so many great people in the last year. That’s the most important experience for me.
What was the biggest challenge you faced in the first year?
The balancing act as an employer is not always easy. But with the support of my family, I am able to manage pretty well.
How did you go about creating a good atmosphere in your bridal shop?
First and foremost, I tried to put myself in the position of the bride. How would I feel most comfortable? So I have a feel-good setting with coordinated colors. This has created a cozy living room atmosphere.
Tell us what the bride can discover in your bridal shop.
Many glamourous wedding dresses in all styles from size 34-60. When choosing our gowns, we pay attention to loving details and pleasant fabrics. We also got the great miXme collection from LeMoos. The bride can create her own gown from many different items. Through a unique zipper system, the dress is then put together by each unique individual piece.
We also offer accessories from lingerie, veils, jackets, shoes to jewelry.
In addition, we have wonderful wedding dirndl’s for every occasion and festive fashion. Here also mothers of the bride or guests have something to choose from..
Can you name a trend your Brides-To-Be prefer the most?
Lace and beautiful backs is the most frequently mentioned request. But also flowing and light skirts.
Do you personally have a favorite trend or dress?
Yes, I actually do. It’s the incredibly beautiful and deep backs on the wedding gowns.
What was the most important experience you have had in the course of a year?
As mentioned, it is the great people you get to know. The many emotions that flow into you and the positive feedback from our customers.
When you look back, what are you particularly proud of and which special people have accompanied and motivated you on this journey?
Definitely the feedback of my customers. It is very much worth it!
Special people who have accompanied and motivated me are first and foremost, my husband and daughter. They are always behind me and give me strength. Also, I am grateful to have especially helpful friends. They stand by my side at every event and support me wherever they can.
What advice would you give to someone who has an interest in starting their own business like yours?
Definitely get a business coach or a qualified person on your side.
