Always current and trendy for 50 years
The Haus der Braut & Gentleman was founded in 1968 by Trude and Gerhard Kuch as one of the first specialist shops in Germany. Since then, more than 10,000 customers have married in a dress from the bride’s house in Mönchengladbach.
Sabine Kuch, owner of the second generation: “In our modern business we sometimes dress our customers for generations and have to reinvent ourselves again and again, because we always have new customers and the market for wedding and evening wear is in constant motion. Of course, our customers will find with us the latest sparkling gowns for 2020 prom, exclusively from London or Paris, communion fashion for girls and boys and the latest wedding trends such as vintage, California blush or green wedding. We are in close dialogue with our target group, for example via our Facebook network with thousands of followers or Pinterest, where we have already had over 20,000 visitors per month. We are also active at wedding fairs in the region and regularly hold fashion shows, such as at the Mönchengladbach Fashion Days or photo shoots with the Mönchengladbach Guard Girls. The price ranges from 298 euros for a simple model to 2,000 euros for a glamorous train dress. The dresses are fashionable, trendy, individual, but not extravagant. We dress the men to match the bride (or partner), from classic to vintage to boho, so that they harmonize as a couple. We can sew vests, ties and suspenders from more than 100 fabrics.
