Natalie Dudka, Designer of Liretta Studio

Can you tell us a little about the Liretta Studio brand?

Liretta Studio was founded in 2019 with the desire to offer brides something truly special. We wanted to create designs that seamlessly combine the grandeur of a wedding celebration with absolute comfort. This allows brides not only to look stunning but also to feel free—to dance, embrace loved ones, and enjoy every moment without discomfort. It was important for us to establish a distinct identity among many bridal brands, and that’s how Liretta dresses were born—dresses inspired by the power of nature, the rhythm of waves, and the energy of a storm.

What inspires you to create Liretta dresses?

Each Liretta collection is deeply rooted in inspiration from the elements of water. Every line, shape, and texture reflects its power—from serene depths to untamed waves.

How is the element of water reflected in the new collection?

The On The Wave collection symbolizes the emotional storm a bride experiences during one of the most significant moments of her life. It’s a fusion of dynamic shapes, clean yet bold lines, layering, and unexpected contrasts of the fabric. Our goal was to capture the different facets of femininity—her strength, passion, and elegance.

What kind of bride chooses a Liretta Studio wedding dress?

Our brides don’t fit into a specific age group or profession—they are united by a desire to express their authenticity, uniqueness, and inner strength. They are bold, energetic, open to new forms of self-expression, and are not afraid to stand out. Their choice is always a style that balances classic elegance with modern individuality.

Would you say that Liretta has a signature style?

Absolutely. Liretta stands out for its diverse aesthetics—just like water, our dresses can be minimalistic and calm or bold and expressive. We incorporate transformative elements, multilayering, texture contrasts, and a play between transparent and dense fabrics to create surprising silhouettes. Uniqueness is a key feature of every design. We don’t follow trends; we create them. Each piece is a carefully crafted story.

What role does Liretta Studio play in the German market?

The German bridal market is quite traditional, but we aim to introduce a fresh perspective on bridal fashion. Our dresses combine individuality, aesthetics, and comfort—qualities highly valued by German brides. With lightweight fabrics, transformative elements, and thoughtfully designed silhouettes, they allow brides to feel free and effortless on their big day. Liretta is the choice for those who want to stand out without sacrificing comfort.

Why is Liretta a special choice for bridal boutiques?

Each of our dresses is created from a blank canvas—every model is unique and designed with meticulous attention to details. We don’t just follow trends; we set them, combining architectural forms, unconventional solutions, and transformative elements. Our designs balance contrasts: bold yet mysterious, daring yet refined. Our collections give boutiques the opportunity to offer their clients something truly exclusive—pieces that cannot be found in the mass segment.

Can you tell us about one of the dresses in the collection? What idea does it convey?

One of the key dresses in the collection is a semi-transparent gown with pleated draping that creates dynamic shapes. It embodies the duality of femininity—delicacy and tenderness, combined with inner strength. Semi-transparent fabric symbolizes openness, vulnerability, and natural sensuality, while the wave-like draping represents a storm of emotions, the energy of life, and the nature’s environment.

We often hear that feminine emotions are wild and even chaotic. But in reality, these “waves” shape her character and make her unique. They don’t just surround her—they protect her.

Another important detail is the lace with subtle shimmering reflections. It symbolizes a woman’s ability to absorb light and radiate it outward. It’s about her inner world—how emotions, experiences, and personal journeys create her unique glow.

The dress has an asymmetrical form, seemingly chaotic, yet that’s where its beauty lies. In nature, there is no right or wrong—only harmony created by the elements. And this dress, like the entire collection, embodies that philosophy.

How do the fabrics you choose contribute to the overall theme and visual storytelling of your collection?

Each material in the collection is carefully chosen to enhance its concept—transparency and texture. We use various types of organza, pleats, taffeta, and artificial silk to bring these ideas to life. Pleats mimic the texture of water, while taffeta captures the movement of waves at their peak. The structured pleats resemble the intricate surface of a seashell, and the organza adds a delicate shimmer, reminiscent of a pearl’s subtle glow. Together, these elements create a harmonious balance between nature’s raw beauty and refined elegance.

What can you tell us about yourself as a designer?

I have been designing clothing for over 15 years, but my creative journey began in interior design. That background has fundamentally shaped my approach to fashion—my collections are defined by precise lines and anatomical structures.

I’m inspired by contrasts—the interplay between wild nature and modern forms, between freedom and structure. I never compromise between comfort and sophistication; for me, these two elements must coexist in perfect harmony.

Each collection I create carries a deeper philosophy—a story told through the language of fashion. It’s more than just aesthetics; it’s a way to communicate and reveal new facets of femininity.
