The Art of Love- The New 2024 Bridal Jewelry Collection from JUVELAN

JUVELAN, the Germany-based jewelry maker in Stuttgart, launched their latest collection “The ART of Love” in a stunning campaign for their loyal clients, bridal shops and followers.

The collection consists of 27 new earrings, bracelets, necklaces and back chains that combine precise shapes with romantic elements, sometimes minimalistic and sometimes expressionistic. The results are wearable works of art made from high-quality freshwater pearls and sparkling crystals that accompany brides throughout their lives from their wedding day.

Creative Director and Jewelry Designer, Johan Vandamme, took the great opportunity to personally talk about his collection per Social Media and we are pleased to share more intimate details from Johan about this unique and stunning collection.

THE ART OF INSPIRATION

“The idea for this collection came to me when I saw the painting “Broadway Boogie Woogie” by Piet Mondrian, a Dutch classical modernist painter. He mainly used primary colours to create a network of vertical and horizontal lines and stripes. Our resulting jewellery pieces are characterized by these clear shapes and lines that radiate a modern, timeless elegance and go in a direction that we have never seen before – with many design elements that we designed and used for the first time. – Johan Vandamme, Creative Director.

Modernist Earrings

Biwa pearls are used for the first time in THE ART OF LOVE, and sparkling rectangles in different sizes run through the collection as a recurring, characteristic element. As always, it was very important to us that our jewellery is of the highest quality and timeless – so that it can be easily integrated into everyday life after the wedding. That’s why we only use high-quality freshwater pearls and crystals for our designs, available in either silver or gold. Rose gold can be made possible upon request.

THE ART OF LOVE

One might now ask: What does a painting have in common with bridal jewellery? Our answer to this is simple: jewellery design, like painting, is an art that requires not only talent but, above all, love for what you create. And since love is considered the greatest art of all, the names of the new jewellery pieces are inspired by the art world. THE ART OF LOVE is our tribute to love and everyone who ties the knot in its name.

THE ART OF COMBINATION

As with all of our bridal jewellery collections, some designs can be combined to create matching sets, for example, the “AVANTGARDE” earrings and necklace or the “MUSE” earrings, bracelet and necklace. Each piece of jewellery can also be worn individually or combined with existing treasures from your jewellery box to create an individual bridal look.

Some designs are deliberately minimalist, while others, such as the expressive “MY HIGHLIGHT” earrings, are perfect for a big entrance. So, every woman is guaranteed to find the piece of jewellery that perfectly suits her and her bridal look in this collection.

JUVELAN

For Johan Vandamme and his partner JUVELAN Director Fredrik Anderson, it’s the craftmanship and the use of high-quality materials that is at heart of JUVELAN. Real freshwater pearls and delicate crystals give the collections their elegant shine and subtle glitter, perfectly complemented by sterling silver with a high-quality gold plating (18k) or in pure sterling silver. On request, JUVELAN creates bridal jewellery pieces can be plated with 14- carat rose gold.
