CHARLIE BREAR Launches “Day For Night” Mainline Collection for Spring 2019

British bridal designer Charlie Brear has announced the launch of its Spring 2019 collection. Taking the brand back to its roots with a strong emphasis on the much-loved signature styling additions pieces, ‘Day for Night’ effortlessly fuses the understated romance of the gowns with the flattering detail of jackets, overdresses and skirts. Embodying the cool, contemporary style that has become synonymous with the Charlie Brear brand, the collection delivers a new dimension on bridalwear with timeless appeal.

Drawing inspiration from the 1970s French film ‘Day for Night’ starring Jacqueline Bisset, the collection focuses on ultra-feminine silhouettes with flow, movement and clean lines. Among the collection are minimalistic draped gowns, wrap and kimono shapes alongside sheer, intricately embroidered creations – all sharing a strikingly stylish aesthetic for women with a strong sense of self.

Designed with flattering panelling, deep v-necks, and bold fluid sleeves, stand out pieces for 2019 include an exquisite embroidered chiffon panelled dress with matching top and jacket additions; spotted sheer overskirt and top; a gloriously fluid, flowing blush pink silk dress and a truly directional kimono inspired gown with matching additions.

Luxurious, artisanal fabrics in a soft, romantic palette of blush pink, silver grey and metallic sit alongside traditional ivories and creams. A unique tonal print has also been introduced for the first time for a new take on the bridal standard. Sourced from across the world, beautiful fabrics underpin every Charlie Brear collection, often providing the inspiration for the final designs.

The 2019 Collection will be available to view at the Charlie Brear London studio and across all stockists from Summer 2018. Gown prices range from £1500 – £3500.
