As the bridal market shifts and changes, Très Chic Bridal Wear responds by adapting to the store owner’s needs.
There is no question that post-pandemic, the industry has not bounced back to “normal”, whatever that may have been in the past. Bridal stores have experienced a roller-coaster pattern, with consumer demands changing, experiencing both highs and lows for a variety of reasons and circumstances.

Très Chic Head of Sales, Jan Brinkman
“We can see clearly that the industry’s needs are changing. Many bridal stores no longer want to purchase all their samples and inventory only at one time at the beginning of the season”, says Très Chic Head of European Sales, Jan Brinkman. “Many of our accounts want to wait and see how the season evolves and then ask for our guidance on best sellers or highly selected styles. They just want to feel more confident in the way they spend their money on samples and product”, he added.
There was an easy solution for Très Chic to counter this evolving trend. While the major trade shows have ended for the year, the Dutch Bridal Wear company has begun planning local city tours around Germany in the summer and Autumn. Now, for the 3rd year, bridal retailers can visit and see the latest product and even select immediate hanging stock close to their hometowns.
“Our tours have become very important to our key accounts”, Jan continues. “We make it very easy for them to meet with us in their own areas around Germany, Netherlands and Austria. We create an easy, comfortable, no pressure environment where retailers can plan and take advantage of our expertise and offers.”
While some of the tour dates have already occurred very successfully this summer, the Fall season brings a series of dates scheduled for Sindelfingen, Brandenburg, Hengevelde (Très Chic Headquarters), Fürth, Salzburg, and Düsseldorf.

Très Chic Company Manager, Rolf Kuipers
“An increasingly amount of our accounts are asking us about hanging stock for immediate sales”, says Très Chic Company Manager, Rolf Kuipers. “While we know last minute brides are real, what we see more of, are stores wanting to manage their inventory more precisely so that they can be more profitable and successful.” Rolf explains.
Recently, Très Chic upgraded its online retail-parter login portal, enabling live updated information of styles available for immediate hanging stock.
“Requests for immediate stock is a very important part of the service we provide to our accounts, and retailers expect us to show what is available when they want it”, says Rolf. “We have made investments to ensure our accounts have accurate up-to-date information of our immediate hanging stock options, so they can make choices easily, and with confidence we will deliver.”
For Très Chic Bridal Wear, these are distinctive ways that provide the right solutions for their account partners, and allows them to manage their businesses more successfully. “By responding to what our accounts need, this ensures that we as a supplier, are making our business decisions around what’s really important for them”, adds Rolf. “This is a way of doing business that we can proudly say, as a company, we have been doing for nearly 60 years!”
