Creating weddings of a wedding couple\u2019s dream is the main business of countless entrepreneurs working in the wedding industry. And once a year in Austria, this industry is brought into the spotlight with The Austrian Wedding Award which honors the most creative minds for their outstanding achievements.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But this year, everything is now different as the once planned dream weddings could not all be implemented, and if so, then in a lesser form. Nonetheless, wedding professionals never left the side of their bridal couples and supported them in this challenging year. The weddings that have been able to take place were and still remain very special.<\/p>\n

Even the organizers of the Austrian Wedding Awards (AWA), refuse to let the corona pandemic get them down. \u201cSpecial times require special measures. With the AWA, we want to set an example of consistency and continue to motivate the industry to stay tuned,\u201d said award founder Susanne Hummel. Participants are able to take part in the awards until November 15, 2020 under the motto: THE WORK OF MY LIFE. This year, submissions will not be restricted to projects from the current season and works from previous seasons will also be assessed by the independent jury.<\/p>\n

The date for the next award has already been set: The award will take place on January 25, 2021 \u2013 further details will be announced shortly.<\/p>\n

Lifelong training is the key to success! Training is a new opportunity, especially in uncertain times when one can’t rely on what has been tried and tested.<\/p>\n

For all those who have always seen themselves in the creative world of marriage, there is a new training platform in Austria with the Institute for Wedding Professionals (IFWP). Adapted to the zeitgeist, there are numerous online education and training opportunities on a wide variety of wedding topics<\/p>\n

Stefan Lehrner, Managing Director of the Wedding Center in Vienna and founder of one of the largest wedding officiators agencies in Austria, and two T\u00dcV-certified wedding planners Bianca Lehrner & Susanne Hummel, founders of the Austrian Wedding Awards, offer well-founded basics for prospective wedding planners on the online learning platform. There are also courses for wedding photographers and wedding officiators who want to start their own business. In several clearly arranged modules, experienced professionals from the wedding industry offer a combination of flexible online courses and online presence appointments. Step by step, the way to a new career is paved for those hungry for knowledge.<\/p>\n
