This year\u2019s Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2020 was like no other. Despite the challenges the bridal industry has faced during the pandemic, this year\u2019s event showed us how determined we are stick with the motto, \u201cthe show must go on\u201d to keep business and a future bride\u2019s dreams alive.<\/p>\n

Out of the 24 fashion shows presented online and on the VBBF app, Bridal Times was able to identify with new \u201cStand Out\u201d or concurrently running trends showcased on this year\u2019s runway.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b>Puff Sleeves <\/b><\/p>\n

We saw a variety of puff sleeve types from designers and manufacturers this year. The puff sleeve looks were incorporated in almost every style from classic bridal looks to boho. We even spotted the puff sleeve trend in short sleeves versions or even in the very popular \u201cremovable sleeve trend\u201d, for those who are willing to change up their looks on the wedding day.<\/p>\n

A feature that never fails to catch attention every year are the various bursts of colours on the catwalk. Besides the \u201cGo-To\u201d nudes, beiges and champagne colors, we saw pastel pinks, stunning reds and blacks, golds and even a light blue wedding dress! Coloured \u201caccents\u201d were also incorporated on wedding gowns from black belts, pink lace-up backs or blue bows.<\/p>\n

Deep V-Neck cuts on wedding gowns are still very much a trend but for brides who are looking for a bit more coverage or the modest \u201cGrace Kelly\u201d royal look, there were plenty of high necklines appearing on stunning gowns on the runway.<\/p>\n
