Morilee has been one of the leading wedding dress brands for many years, what has made Morilee such a favorite pick amongst brides?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our award-winning designer Madeline Gardner designs a wide range or classic gowns from sheath to A-line, fit and flare to ballgown. There really is something for everyone and our accessories such as belts, veils and detachable straps or jackets can really complete the look for the bride. We have to off course tip our hat to our retailers who have outstanding knowledge of our products and can advise brides what is possible and make recommendations.<\/p>\n

Morilee is up for 3 top nominations \u201cBridal Manufacture of the Year\u201d, \u201cBridesmaid Manufacture of the Year\u201d and \u201cWedding Dress of the Year\u201d at the 2019 Bridal Buyer Awards. What does this mean for the Morilee team?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are so proud to be shortlisted and can\u2019t wait for the awards event! It is great to know we are designing gowns that our retailers and brides love.<\/p>\n

The dress which has been nominated for the award is Pierette, style 2044, which is our current bestselling dress that looks stunning on a whole host of body shapes. Madeline describes the dress as a strapless ballgown with a diamond shaped peekaboo covered in shimmering crystal beading. The gown has a sheer bodice, which can be lined, and is fastened with silk covered buttons at the back. The appliques trickle down onto the shimmering sparkle tulle skirt and train. The bodice is boned for a great fit and the gown is shipped with sparkling beaded straps for an alternative look and extra appliques if the bride wishes to cover the peekaboo.<\/p>\n

Would you say that Morilee gowns have a signature style?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Morilee is well known for romantic, flowing ballgowns and A-lines in lace, which you will still find in the new collection, however we are also presenting some simpler, plainer stain designs.<\/p>\n

Tell us about the new Fall 2019 Desert Dreams Collection. <\/strong><\/p>\n

For the collection, named Desert Dreams, Madeline took inspiration from patterns found in the desert. The gowns feature geometric lace patterns giving it quite a boho feel. There are floaty satin and delicate sequined net skirts accompanied by jaw-dropping, highly decadent trains.<\/p>\n

What kind of new trends or features have been incorporated in new collection?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve listened to feedback from our retailers and brides and have made changes to the structure of our gowns to give more comfort and an improved fit. This includes things like shapewear and new bust cups. Our sheer bodices have detachable, reversible linings in nude and ivory or white to match the dress. All of our strapless gowns are also shipped with beaded straps to give brides another way to customise their gown or change a look from day to evening.<\/p>\n

Can you tell us about a favorite gown or accessory from the collection?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rebecca, style number 2071, is one of our favourites from the 2020 Collection. This sleeveless wedding dress features frosted, embroidered lace appliqu\u00e9s on an intricately designed English net and lace gown. Available in white, ivory, and ivory\/champagne, the halter, high neckline complements the A-line silhouette of the dress. The buttons along the back of the dress complete the look. A matching overskirt, as seen in the photo, can be added to give the skirt a fuller look, which can be removed the change the look from day to night.<\/p>\n

What is next for Morilee this year?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now that the busy period of trade shows is over in Europe we are planning for the next 12 months. In the UK you\u2019ll be able to find us at one of the biggest events in the European Bridal calendar; the Harrogate Bridal Show, on the 8-10th<\/sup> September where we will be unveiling a new collection of Bridal designs by Madeline Gardner. As for 2020, this is going to be an exciting year for us and we are currently planning to increase our presence at all major events in Germany. We have seen significant growth in Northern Europe over recent years and we want to continue to build on our success by developing collections to suit our customers\u2019 needs and focus on the budget conscious brides.<\/p>\n
