The star line-up is happy to be seen at this royal wedding. In addition to Naomie Campbell, Robbie Williams with his wife and charming daughter Theodora as flower girl, Liv Tyler, Cara Delevigne, Kate Moos, James Blunt and many other prominent guests could not miss the event – a total of over 1200 people experienced the event live.<\/p>\n

A dream in white\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of course, we at Bridal Times take a closer look at Eugenie\u2019s gown, which caused much speculation before the wedding. That it would be from an English designer was a foregone conclusion – but who would be the lucky one? Now the secret is revealed …<\/p>\n

Peter Pilotto is the star designer chosen – the London label, under the direction of the two designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, designed the princess\u2019 beautiful white jacquard dress with long sleeves and a deep V-neckline, with draped details in the front and back.<\/p>\n

Particularly eye-catching: the long and very figure-hugging train, which positively emphasized Princess Eugenie womanly form. One wish of Princess Eugenie was to have the back open, because she did not want to hide her scar after a back operation at the age of 12 due to scoliosis, sending a great message to all who have been affected by the condition.<\/p>\n

What dream(dresse)s are made of\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fabric was designed by Pilotto and De Vos in their studio in East London. Similar to Meghan Markle\u2019s dress, this gown contained symbols that have a special meaning for the princess and can be seen as a discreet jacquard pattern on the robe: a thistle, the symbol of Scotland; a shamrock, the hint for Ireland and reflecting the bride\u2019s mother\u2019s roots, and the York Rose as a clear symbol of England. The ivy represents the home of Eugenie and Jack, Ivy Cottage, on the grounds of Kensington Palace.<\/p>\n

The designers incorporated these symbols into a silk, cotton and viscose jacquard. The result is a very modern looking fabric in a very elaborate weaved technique.<\/p>\n

We at Bridal Times are excited about this creation! Surely many brides will like this design and make it their bridal look.<\/p>\n

Eugenie decided against a heavy veil and choosing instead to wear a high-profile tiara created with a valuable combination of platinum, sparkling diamonds and bright emeralds.<\/p>\n

By the way, she took Charlotte Olympia satin-finished peep-toe heels to the altar, and we at Bridal Times think it’s an excellent choice!<\/p>\n

The special tiara ….<\/strong><\/p>\n

The chosen “Grenville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara”, a creation of diamonds and emeralds, was borrowed from the Queen and came as a surprise, as many expected her to wear the “York Diamond Tiara”, which her mother, Sarah Ferguson, had worn at her own wedding in 1986. The Duchess of York received it from the Queen and Prince Philip, and it has since then been owned by the family -making Princess Eugenie\u2019s choice to wear a different tiara on this special day rather unexpected.<\/p>\n

Princess Eugenie’s bridal look was perfected by the precious piece of jewelry with a total of seven emeralds. The jeweler and watchmaker “Boucheron” designed and made this precious piece of jewelry in 1919, and it is part of the “Greville bequest” collection. The Queen herself received this beautiful tiara in 2002 as a gift from her mother, the Queen Mum.<\/p>\n
