Harrogate Bridal Week 2024 Runway Trends<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Set in the famous Royal Hall, the Fashion Shows are a true Bridal Week Harrogate<\/strong> tradition: and we\u2019re bringing you the top trends, straight to your fingertips<\/p>\n

Filling the front rows of the grand Royal Hall, both retailers and press gathered to be amongst the very first to view some of the latest pieces from world-renowned brands and designers, and see the emerging trends set to soar this season.<\/p>\n

Fifteen of the finest brands hit the catwalk to show off their latest creations: Dando London, Lor\u00e9 White, Diane Legrand, Shane Moore, Lia Bella, Ellis Bridals, Maya Bella, Kelsey Rose, Horrocks Vale Collections, Ricca Sposa, Romantica, Sophia Tolli, Sherbon Clothing, Elegancia <\/strong>and Rachel Allan<\/strong> – and what a show it was. Maximalism is IN<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Maximalist dresses took centre stage at Bridal Week Harrogate 2024. Brands showcased some of their most opulent designs, with layers of rich fabrics, embellishments, and volume, fully embracing extravagance and offering their very finest to retailers. Dando London dazzled with a mini dress and jacket adorned in fully embroidered 3D tulle flowers, creating a lush, textured look. Angel Couture by Elegancia graced the runway with a light green princess ballgown, embellished with sparkles and rhinestones for whimsical appeal. Horrocks Vale Collections impressed with their Australian-sourced Merino wool cape, which sat atop their dress fully embellished with fluttering wool discs, adding a touch of avant-garde luxury to the ensemble. The Mini Dress Revolution<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We saw it earlier in the year, but mini bridal dresses are here to stay. Departing from the traditional floor-length gowns, designers embraced the spirit of modernity and playfulness by introducing shorter hemlines to the mix. Romantica presented a demure take on the mini dress, with an embossed-look botanical fabric and an oversized, asymmetrical front bow. Ellis Bridals showcased a chic mini dress with a draped cowl neckline, beautifully layered with a sumptuously soft satin overskirt, allowing brides to switch between sleek and dramatic. Kelsey Rose brought a fresh, cool-girl edge to the catwalk, showcasing a ruched mini dress complemented by a sparkling overlay, which they paired with a tailored jacket for a chic and contemporary bridal look. High Halternecks<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Halternecks made a memorable comeback this season, offering a sleek and modern neckline that accentuates the shoulders and collarbones. Lor\u00e9 White kept it minimalist with a simple, elegant halter design that exuded sophistication. Diane Legrand introduced a striking ruched satin high neck jumpsuit, adding a practical, modern and fashion-forward twist to bridal attire. Maya Bella showcased a more traditional look with their lace halterneck dress, blending delicate, romantic detailing with the classic cut. Gothic Romance<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Your brides searching for something different? This year, black wedding dresses made a striking entrance, redefining bridal fashion with a bold, gothic allure. Lia Bella brought a dramatic tulle bardot gown, featuring intricate lace embroidery that fused elegance with dark romance. Sherbon showcased a beaded mermaid gown, and paired it with a detachable cape dripping with beads for a high-fashion look. Ricca Sposa introduced a slinky black sweetheart dress, adorned with a explosion of feathers at the hem – perfect for brides wanting a playful touch. Tulle in Tiers<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tulle also made an appearance on the Bridal Week catwalk, infusing bridal gowns with an ethereal quality. Shane Moore presented a simple, sleek dress, which was paired with a light tulle overskirt to create a dreamy effect. Rachel Allan opted for a bold, high-low tiered tulle design to add volume and drama to the silhouette. Sophia Tolli wowed with a layered ruffle tiered skirt and illusion lace bodice, combining texture and detail to create something truly beautiful. A Vintage Revival<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It wasn’t all contemporary takes on bridal, either: we witnessed a sort of vintage revival, which brought timeless elegance to the runway as designers paid homage to iconic fashion eras. Horrocks Vale Collections channelled the 1960’s with an asymmetric, tea-length dress, offering a playful, retro silhouette. Dando delivered a stunning ode to the 1920’s, featuring a fully beaded, Art Deco-patterned mini dress paired with a bold puff-sleeve cape for a dramatic flair. Ellis Bridals embraced 1990’s chic with a clean-cut, sleek mini dress, complemented with an oversized back bow and matching accents.
