In the month of August, brides and industry professionals were invited to the grand opening of the newly renovated White Silhouette Bridal Shop in Munich.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Owner and designer\u00a0Fan Xia of White Silhouette Brautmoden<\/strong> in Munich is already well known in the German bridal market, recognized for her multiple appearances on “Zwischen T\u00fcll und Tr\u00e4nen” (Germany’s version of ‘Say Yes to the Dress’), the success of her bridal shop since its opening in 2014, and for her own bridal label, Fan Xia Design<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the months leading up to the grand opening, followers of Fan Xia had the opportunity to get a behind the scenes look on social media at her 8 month journey in remodeling her bridal shop which would now include an exclusive caf\u00e9 for brides, the\u00a0Andalus Caf\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On August 3rd, the grand opening of White Silhouette and Andalus Cafe finally arrived with goodiebags packed with gift certificates for brides, bridal makeup and hair stations, an XXL cake, prosecco, live music, and “Zwischen T\u00fcll und Tr\u00e4nen” filming on-site. It was no surprise to see expectant brides waiting in a line extending from the bridal shop door and around the building, just eager to get inside to be a part of the action.<\/p>\n

The concept of providing a place for brides to sit, discuss and enjoy coffee and cake has always been an inspriational idea for Fan Xia.\u00a0\u00a0Fan says, “I always had the vision to open a bridal shop together with a caf\u00e9 , to offer the whole package. A comfortable atmosphere not only with bridal gowns in the forefront, but a place where guests can come in and feel at ease. I think when there is a caf\u00e9, brides can enjoy a very nice time. It’s a beautiful life!”, laughs Xia.<\/p>\n

But the renovations didn\u2018t come without it\u2018s challenges along the way. Fan adds, “Of course it was a lot of work and there were many emotional moments along the way. On a construction site, things don’t always go the way you want them to. We had deadlines and in such situations you just have to stay persistant, and now I am really happy that we completed everything on time.”<\/p>\n

Besides appearing on \u201eZwischen T\u00fcll und Tr\u00e4nen, Fan also attributes the success of the grand opening to their consistant digital marketing efforts. Fan adds, “Marketing is truely everything and it had a strong effect on our grand opening. We placed advertisements and of course we are well known on social media. They know how and when everything will happen and that is very important nowadays.”<\/p>\n

After the triumphant outcome of the grand opening, White Silhouette and Andalus Caf\u00e9 can look forward to returning brides in the coming weeks, and we can look forward to watching the television highlights on “Zwischen T\u00fcll und Tr\u00e4nen”.<\/p>\n
